The Institute of shanghai auto Lamps and Lanterns under this Center s the unit as Secretariat of National Auto Lamps and Light Analysis and Technology Commission and takes a vote upon International Standard Draft on behalf of China. The institute has advanced testing means for the auto lamps and had established exclusive Lamps Testing Darkroom with full sizes in China at present, which is able to meet the testing requirements for National Standard and International regulations standard concerning ECE and SAE and has the testing abilities for all lamps and lanterns, including lamps photometric performance, mechanical property and environmental suitability. This institute is the first drafted the Auto lamps and lanterns standards in china, drafted more then 10 standards and this amount is the most in China. The institute was granted more than 10 awards of science and technology advancement at ministry or state level. It gains sufficient economic and social achievements and also helped lamp products promotion.
