Spare Parts Lab under the Institute of Motor Vehicle Parts Inspection has advanced testing means and is able to cover the testing ability for safety parts, it includes various safety parts testing system, such as safety belt assemblies of the vehicles, rear view mirror, horn, braking hose, Flammability of automotive material, seat, fixed-point intensity of safety belt, door lock, door retention components, harm to the drivers caused by steering mechanism of the vehicles and the intensity of the vehicles¡¯ body, and has established the performance and weariness testing system concerning different parts. Department of Component Test, National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Motor Vehicle Products Quality (Shanghai), has not only the advanced safety devices for vehicle component-including the systems of rear mirrors, horns, braking hoses, the burning ability of inner materials, seats, safety belt, headrest, the intensity of the belt fixing points, the harm of the steering mechanism to the driver, etc., but also many other component testing capabilities, of which the testing devices are domestically at the leading place of the field.
