Passive safety test

1.Passive safety lab

Passive safety lab is totally 150 meters in length, with the impact area 48 meters long, 42 meters wide, and 10meters high. Of the net rack architecture, there are no pillars in this area and it is quite favorable for high-speed camera. In the room, we have the devices needed for the vehicle crash test, such as: main control room, dummy calibration room, vehicle preparing room and data analyzing room, etc.

The institute of Passive Safety under this center has brought advanced experimental equipment as international world-class Traction System, Testing Dummy, Digital Collection system, High Speed Photographic System and Accelerated Trolley Experimental System available to implement research works on Automotive Crash and Safety Components Dynamic Performance Regulations Experiment, R&D Experiment and Automotive Crash Computer Simulation of different types and national standards for actual vehicles¡¯ front, side, rear-end and offset.

4 Our crash laboratory has been certified or abilities proved by many international organizations and technical institutes, such as JARI(Japan), VW(Germany), VCA(UK), TUV(Germany), IDIADA(Spain), GCC(Middle East) and ADAC(Germany).

Especially in the field of NCAP, based on the technical cooperation with Germany famous auto club ADAC, our test laboratory has become the only testing and assessment lab in China, which fulfills with Euro NCAP protocols by having the certification from ADAC.

5. Service Area

All kinds of full scale vehicle crash test for passive safety of M1,M2, N1 and N2 class vehicles. Since its establishment in Sept.2003, the facility has accomplished all kinds of crash tests of the different model cars made by local car manufactures in China. We will serve all the customers whole-heartedly. In order to meet more customers¡¯ requirements, we will develop the CAE system and SLED system, Calibration of Dummy and Sensor, as well as the real vehicle crash test.
